A Story of Faith, Fellowship & God's Faithfulness

Byrathi Brethren Church was established in 2003 as a local New Testament assembly in Bengaluru. A few believers from Bethel Assembly, Bengaluru, were led by the Lord to begin a regular worship gathering in the Byrathi area, with a desire to establish a biblical testimony that would glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and faithfully uphold the teachings of the Holy Scriptures.
Under the leadership of Evg. P. K. Varghese, the assembly commenced its worship services at the premises of the Karnataka Good News Fellowship Trust (KGNFT). What began as a small gathering of believers, united in prayer and dependence upon the Lord, has continued by His grace as a place of worship, fellowship, and the faithful ministry of God's Word.
From its inception, the assembly has remained committed to the principles of the New Testament, gathering in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the breaking of bread, worship, prayer, and the ministry of the Scriptures. Alongside its regular worship services, the assembly has sought to proclaim the gospel, disciple believers, and minister to children and young people through Sunday School, Bible studies, youth fellowship, and gospel outreach.
As we reflect on the Lord's faithfulness over the years, we acknowledge His sustaining grace and guidance in every step of the assembly's journey. Our earnest prayer is that Byrathi Brethren Church will continue to be a faithful witness for the Lord Jesus Christ, holding forth the truth of God's Word and proclaiming the gospel until His glorious return.
"Unless the Lord builds the house, they labour in vain who build it."
